St Chad’s College, University of Durham
St Chad’s College is a bailey college of Durham University. With around 380 students as members – 320 or so are undergraduates – St Chad’s is one of the smallest colleges in Durham.
Close to Hatfield and St John’s College, Chad’s buildings on the bailey are overshadowed by Durham Cathedral. The college’s alumni include several BBC presenters and the Bishop of Worcester.
St Chad’s motto is ‘not yours but you’ (non vestra sed vos).
