rating out of 5 star: Variety: 5 star Artistry: 5 star Service: 5 star Food: 5 star My family and I enjoyed afternoon tea at The Tea Room during our recent visit. We love to have tea when we travel, but unfortunately for us, many tea rooms discourage or don't allow children. However, the staff of The Tea Room were welcoming and accomodating of our party of two adults and four children. We found The Tea Room to be happy and refined, yet relaxed and friendly. Our visit to durham was perfect, thanks to The Tea Room. my 18 year old daughter is new at durham UNI she and her friends often go here, i guess this shows that it is perfect for every one ! anna marie
