Advertising on durhamStudent is ideal for businesses to promote themselves, their products or services to an audience primarily attending or recently graduated from Durham University.
How It Works
As you may have noticed, durhamStudent does not use graphical adverts, since studies have shown that most website visitors tend to ignore these, and have done since 1997! What durhamStudent offers is a concise text-based advert, which drives our advertisers to minimise the amount of information in their advertisement so that even a quick glance from one of users should catch their eye.
The advertisement is displayed in the 'userbar', which is not overly obstrusive to our visitors but in a place of good visibility, and the lack of graphics mean the advertisement seamlessly fits the durhamStudent website, creating a consistent style across the website, meaning your advert doesn't look out of place.
There are only ever a maximum of 5 advertisers per month, giving your advertisement much more chance of being remembered, and the 'view all' link next to the advertising area of the website allows durhamStudent visitors to find your advert again should they need to.
What We Need
All you need to give us is a link to your website, contact details for your business (for example, a telephone number or a domain name, such as durhamStudent.com) and a brief description of your business, up to a maximum of 36 characters.
What It Costs
Advertising on durhamStudent costs from just £20 per month per block. You can purchase advertisements online through the durhamStudent website - all you need to do is register an account and log in. Please contact durhamStudent for more information should you need any.
