Brown Sugar is a bar-café in Durham. The underwhelming, ice-age-inducingly slow service and above-average prices do nothing to deter the rahs. Coffee, tea and alcoholic drinks are available into the early evening, and the large flat-screen televisions seem to attract some sports-addicts, with the channel never altering from Sky Sports.
Opposite the Sandwich Basket, and down the road from the DSU, Brown Sugar is just around the corner from the Swan and Three Cygnets and Klute.
