Jimmy Allen's nightclub, situated under Elvet Bridge in Durham, next to Chase and Klute, is a popular venue for students on both bar crawls and out pulling randomers, as well as locals. Whilst the drinks are by no means cheap, entry is free, and Jimmy A's quirky, cavernous rooms under the bridge will mean that the decor is entertaining if the music isn't.
