The Victoria Inn Hotel
Close to Zen restaurant and the Durham Student Union, The Victoria Hotel public house is a welcoming pub for students and locals alike. Situated opposite Ricardo's, the Victoria Inn is not a particularly popular haunt with students, but other than the (reasonable-outside-university) prices, it is hard to see why students do not fill the high-ceiling lounges and bars between lectures - it makes a refreshing change from the chain-pub feel of the New Inn.
