As you’ve probably seen recently, the UK government has announced the Eat Out To Help Out scheme which allows restaurants to give their customers 50% off food to help revive the leisure and hospitality industry in the UK during the coronavirus pandemic.
How does Eat Out To Help out work?
The scheme gives customers at participating restaurants and dining establishments 50% off food and soft drinks (not alcoholic drinks or service charges) on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Eat Out To Help Out is running from 3rd August – 31st August 2020.
All diners in a group of any size can make use of the discount, and the 50% discounted can then be claimed by the restaurant from the government. The discount for Eat Out To Help Out should be automatically applied at participating venues on the dates above.
